Tennessee Black Gold was formed by professionals working on larger scale oil projects as a way to maximize opportunities on smaller scale projects and one-off ventures. Often these opportunities offer shorter term timelines, and quick turn-arounds, as compared with the more broad spectrum public projects.
The Goal
The team seeks to find, prove, develop, and arrange quick flips on projects which can be manipulated for fast expansion and quick profits. Often these smaller endeavors are the type of deals larger concerns look for when cash flowing, but fall into a category which is too small for their development portfolios.
TBG specializes in more personal connections with small operators and land owners. They wish to partner with experienced professionals and managers in the field who can help them extrapolate their niche leases into quick growth and then sell them. TBG often arranges keeping an override on the project going forward once sold.
The Teams Specialty
TBG brings together professionals in geophysics, seismic 3D technology, petroleum engineering, land management for operations, as well as financial resources. Together, working with the small operators or land owners, TBG can quickly assess and convey expertise in operations, structuring, and development, which often takes months and years for larger companies.
The team specializes their focus on extraction projects, NOT exploration.
With the proliferation of new technologies over the last 20 years MANY older fields, once closed down due to limitations, can now be revived, revamped, and refurbished to take advantage of new processes which can gather more oil than they originally produced! The team stays away from trying to find new fields, rather focuses on gaining an edge by utilizing previous data and matching it up with new methodologies to both prove the resources, and then extract it maximizing the new technologies. This greatly reduces the risk as we only drill where we know the oil exists!
